Known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere, Bermuda has been recognized as a top destination for solo women of color. The island proudly stands out as the only country to officially honor a Black woman, the formerly enslaved Mary Prince, with a national holiday. Mary Prince played a pivotal role in the abolition of slavery for the island, making her legacy an integral part of Bermuda’s history and cultural identity.
